Can cats and birds live together? I've got to see this one.

LEFT - Tommy Boy, mugging for the camera.

The budgies in the house have no contact with other creatures, except humans. I plan to bring in a cat or a dog. Could it ruin their routine? Or their life?

Yum yum, said kitty.
Oh, yeah? Tommy Boy replied.

You're my dinner.
You're my delirium.

You're my dessert, then.
You're my desperation.

Then, I'll see you back at breakfast.
No, I'd still be here at lunch.

Kitty claws at Tommy.
Tommy flies a-pronto.

Can you get me up?
I can get down.

Ok, I'll make you dinner.
Kitty rolls around.

we actually have a parakeet (in a cage of course!), a pomeranian, and a german shepherd aussie mix, and never had a problem. In fact when I talk to my bird, the two are right there too! with a cat, I don't know, bec they can be all over the place!

Wow, you have a busy household.

I think bird and cat can co-exist, but the bird cage should be secured all the time.
